Teaching and Learning Supports

To ensure that both remote and in-person classes are not disrupted, support services will be provided.

1. Technology Support

a. Online System Support

The school, with the help of the Computer Services Center, shall continue to upgrade and update its system of processing transactions especially on the aspect of technological support and communication.

b. Internet and Communication Allowance for Personnel

With the expectation of maximizing the use of online transactions and communication, the school will look into the possibility of providing technological assistance to all its personnel especially in their expenses for internet use.

c. Computer and School Device Loan

Aside from the usual computer loan assistance provided by the school, employees may also borrow school devices for their work-from-home use.

2. Improving learning and shared spaces

Supporting the teaching and learning modalities and approaches, and maintaining the health and safety conditions require upgrading and setting up of devices especially in the learning and shared spaces in the school premises. On this regard, the school will look into the following infrastructure improvements:

a. Internet capability and setting up other devices that support teaching and learning and other online operations

b. Installation of ventilation equipment to comply with the room ventilation standards

● Carbon dioxide level, air change and airflow requirements as stipulated in the DOLE order 224-21 will be complied with in all offices and function rooms.

● Air conditioning systems, like installation of HEPA filters and ultraviolet devices

c. Sanitation and disinfection and waste management system To support the safety and health guidelines on enhanced cleaning and disinfection which is stipulated in Section III.A.6, the school will:

● set up a proper sanitation and hygiene facility for all school-goers;

● ensure sanitation and disinfection of school facilities, furniture, and equipment;

● enforce proper disposal of waste especially medical wastes; and,

● post infographics in all strategic locations in the school premises to remind all stakeholders of their responsibility in compliance with the minimum health standards. ,

3. Linkage and Networks

The school shall continue to strengthen its partnership with various government and private agencies, and stakeholders for assistance and support.

● Department of Education (Makati) for the guidance and direction in the conduct of pilot testing

● LGUs (Barangay Dasmariñas and Makati City Government), and DVA for support and assistance in health safety, traffic, and security

● Parents and other stakeholders for their consent, support and assistance in the teaching and learning setup and the pilot testing

● Outsource partners and Service providers for improvement in infrastructures, COVID 19 testing, wellness and medical and other support.
