Transportation and School Bus Safety

a. The students participating in the pilot testing should be brought to and fetched from school by parents/ guardians using private cars, preferably, their own.

• The school also recommends that a private car transporting students to and from school should follow the requirement set by the Department of Transportation (DoTR) on the maximum number of persons inside the car. However, the school gives the parents/guardians the leeway to exercise their best judgment on this.

b. The use of school buses in transporting students shall be suspended during the pilot testing.

c. The school personnel shall be encouraged to use their own cars and accommodate others for car pooling. The school will provide a transport service from designated points to CSA to lessen the risk of exposure to COVID 19 virus for the personnel who are commuting.
