The Symphony of Giddiness
The sounds of footsteps, laughter and talking bounced around the bus. The bus driver hated it. His eyebrow twitched as his teeth grinded. People having fun irked him to no end. His aura of malice poured throughout the vehicle and drowned everyone´s cheer. The symphony of giddiness came to a halt. The bus became silent.
After a few hours, there was only one passenger remaining. A woman with short, jet-black hair and bangs that covered the entire left side of her face. She seemed to be holding something in her pale, slender hands.
The bus finally arrived at its final destination. The woman rose from her seat and walked towards the bus driver, her heels clicked against the bus floor. Once she was face to face with the bus driver she held out her hand.
¨For you,¨ she said, her voice monotone but had a hint of honey.
In the woman's hand was a small heart-shaped box of chocolates.
For a moment, the bus driver´s blue eyes shimmered like an ocean. A crimson hue splattered across his face and his lips were slightly parted.
¨Th..Thank you,¨ was all he managed to utter as his shaky hands hesitantly took the box.
When the bus driver finally came home to his apartment complex, everything was silent. But, his aura of delight poured throughout the room and brought his roommate cheer. A symphony of giddiness began.
Tiny Light
Please don’t run away like others did
Just because I’m kinda mean
I know that my true self was hid
But with you I’m not scared to be me
Please just stay by my side
Even if it's just for a short time
You made my life big and bright
With just a tiny light
Without you I wouldn't be me in this world of fantasy
