Earvin S. Larry teaches in the Career and Technology Education Department at Commerce High School. He teaches Digital and Interactive Media (DIM), Robotics, Business Law, and Graphic Design . He is also also the sponsor of the CHS Black History Committee, the Yearbook Editor and the CHS Chess Club. In the past, he has coached basketball, track, and cross country at CHS.
Before starting his teaching career, he spent several years in the U.S. Air Force, and he’s worked in Production Management in the Medical Manufacturing Industry. In addition, he worked for six years as an Adjunct Instructor at Eastfield College in Mesquite, Texas and as a curriculum writer for the University of North Texas in Denton.
His undergraduate degrees are from: The University of Maryland, (Liberal Arts) and Eastern Illinois University, (Occupational Education). I received my Masters Degree in Occupational and Human Resource Development from Abilene Christian University.
In his free time, he enjoys attending Church, reading, traveling, motorcycle riding, working out, and spending time with his family.
He truly enjoys Teaching and Coaching and strives to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
