Reverse Career Fair

What is it:

For the Reverse Career Fair, the traditional career fair model of students walking around to meet perspective companies is reversed, giving Code2040 Fellows the opportunity to be approached by hiring managers and/or recruiters who initiate conversations and engage them to learn about their skills and experiences.

When does RCF take place:

August 2019

When do we finalize partnerships for RCF:

September 2018 - April 2019

Who is the target audience for the event:

Our annual Reverse Career Fair welcomes Black and Latinx technologists seeking full-time jobs and internships for face-to-face conversations with company partners. Sponsoring company partners receive a resume book in advance, and have the opportunity to engage and interview participants on site.

What does it cost:

Up to $10,000 depending on level of participation (number of attendees, access to student resumes, etc.)

What sponsors/partners receive:

  • Access and opportunity to network, interview, and hire vetted Black and Latinx Computer Science majors from universities around the country
  • Recognition on the Code2040 website
  • Placement in our newsletter to over 5,000 alumni
  • Access to students' Linkedin profiles and resumes
