Code2040’s new PopUp Series transforms career pain points shared by our community members into topic-focussed workshops, outings, activities, and panels designed to engage a broader community of participants, particularly rising Black and Latinx tech professionals. We work with PopUp hosts to design sessions that focus on an area of learning, like management, feedback, career planning, and more, then we gather our community for an evening of delicious food, fellowship, and learning. Most sponsors host at their office space, and we will help design, recruit, and organize.

Agreement finalized at least one month before each event date. Event dates are agreed upon with Code2040 and each respective partner.

Our Pop-Ups engage our community of Black & Latinx technologists as well as the larger tech community. In our 2018 Pop-Up there were 63 attendees and 90% of them identified as Black and/or Latinx. 64% of attendees had never been to a Code2040 event before.

- The opportunity to host dozens of Bay Area technologists in your office space, volunteer engagement opportunities for your staff
- Speaking time for one or more of your team members (ex. give a warm welcome, and have a team member sit on the panel!)
- Increased exposure to a growing community of Black & Latinx technologists and equity change makers
- Logo placement in event collateral including, but not limited to: E-mail communications, event page, and event signage (to an online following community of more than 50K users)
- Comprehensive data and insights from attendees on company culture and diversity efforts
