Welcome Weekend is a two day event that serves as an orientation, an induction, and a celebration of the journey each Fellow is about to embark upon. During this weekend, through a series of sessions and activities, Fellows form deep bonds with other Fellows, ground themselves in program expectations, and learn invaluable skills to maximize their experience as a Fellow.
Some of the trainings include, but are not limited to: Navigating Identities, Peer Mentorships, Building Your Network, Cultivating Self-Care, and many others.

Up to $50,000 depending on hosting package*
*In kind donations required (space, food, beverages, AV, staff time, etc.)

- The opportunity to host dozens of technologists in your office space = Increased exposure to a growing community of Black & Latinx technologists and equity change makers
- Speaking time for one or more of your team members (ex. give a warm welcome)

- Logo placement in event collateral including, but not limited to: e-mail communications, event page, and event signage (to an online following community of more than 50K users)
- Opportunity to provide branded swag during event
- Recognition on Code2040 website
