Use a Chrome Extension to check your Grammar!
Add Grammarly to your browser

Click "add to Chrome" (should be a blue button to click)The extension is now installed.
To use it, click the extensions (PUZZLE Piece) icon ( at left of the "snowman" 3 vertical dots. -it is not the purple puzzle piece that says rw. It will be black or white depending on if your browser is in dark mode or light mode.)
Select Open the Grammarly extension- icon is a Green round Gswirl. I Pin it the browser so it is always visible.
Sign in to Grammarly with your CMS email. Once signed in, it will take you on a tour of its usage but you can use it within whatever site you type into. Grammarly works even within Canvas, Google docs, and most sites.You know it's "on" when you a small circle or circles at the bottom left of the page you are typing in.

emojis may not show up at school wifi- they detect tone and the typical underlines of misspelled and misworded items!
Ignore the "advanced suggestions" for premium users. That is just an attempt to sell a subscription.
Grammarly finds grammar errors but be awareit is just an algorithm and is not a "real" like you are
Sometimes it flags correct usage.
Sometimes it suggests an improvement which makes the sentence worse.
Sometimes it does not communicate well with the site you are typing into.
If it does cause any issues with google docs you can shut it off if it makes a problem and turn it on again as needed. That's what I do.
