Being a parent or carer is a difficult job at the best of times.

If there is one message to take away from these pages, it would be to please take good care of yourselves.


As you will see in the Regulation section, we can’t think clearly unless we are calm, relaxed and managing stress ourselves. The strategies and suggestions for children are also just as relevant for ourselves.
