Remember, if you plan to take any Science subject in Sixth Form, or wish to pursue a science-based career of any sort, you are strongly advised to take all three sciences at IGCSE, either as separate sciences or through the Dual Award.
Some subjects would be very difficult to take up in Sixth Form if you drop them now, and in all subjects the GCSE/IGCSE courses are a highly desirable foundation for successful Sixth Form work.
Bear in mind how your present choice may affect careers and courses open to you later. If you are in doubt, seek advice about this from the Careers teachers and try to keep options open especially if you have no clear ideas as yet.
Remember that some careers may require you to obtain a GCSE/ IGCSE in a subject you have no intention of taking in Sixth Form - again, the Careers team can give advice if you are not sure.
Take as much advice as possible from:
subject teachers about their subjects
the Careers team for the career implications your choices
your Form Tutor, Ms Nixey or Mrs Allison about your choices overall
