You can use either SIMS.net or Edulink One to set the work in the same manner as you would for homework during this time.

Google Classroom will be our platform to ensure remote learning. All learning resources should beuploaded here.

Applications such as WhatsApp and Zoom should not be used due the security and GDPR issues they pose, if you are unsure if an application/website should be used, please contact ICT Support … but as a rule of thumb, if in doubt, don’t!

No 'face to face' or 'live chat' platforms can be used. Some HOD's have asked to use Skype or Facetime or WhatsApp - these present safeguarding risks and are not to be used. Any communication with parents and students should only be through school systems, eg student's school email address, Edulink, Schoolcomms.

Yes you can communicate with students as you would normally using their school email address via email or schoolcomms as appropriate. Staff should use their school email not a personal email address.

Remember to make your files as small as possible by compressing photos and converting them to a PDF.
