Transportation Policy

TRANSPORTATION POLICIES

A. Coaches will provide a "wish" list for transportation when requested by the Athletics department, or before if available.

B. Every use including games, scrimmages, and practices, of a bus must be requested and turned in as soon as possible.

C. If cancellation, or change, must be made due to weather conditions or other reasons, please let Athletics know as soon as possible.

D. The Transportation Department will not honor requests directly from coaches.

E. A coach must be present on all bus rides.

Transportation of Students

A. All students are to ride the district transportation to and from all practices and games if transportation is provided.

B. Any exceptions due to extenuating circumstances must have approval by the Activities Director.

Transporting Students

Coaches should not transport students in personal vehicles unless they have filled out and returned district paperwork. (Exhibit EEAG-E attached)

Information required for approval by the district include:

Copies of Driver's License, Insurance Card, and Insurance Declaration showing liability coverage amounts.

Cherry Creek School District prescribes the following coverage amounts:

• $300,000 single limit, or
• $100,000 bodily injury - each person
• $300,000 bodily injury - each incident
• $50,000 property damage - each incident
