UNIFORM PURCHASE GUIDELINES

1. Programs may purchase jackets and warm-ups needed for protection from weather conditions. Consideration should be given as to which account the purchase would be made.

2. Uniforms may be provided as required by National Federation and/or CHSAA regulations. Home and away uniforms may be provided when required by such rules. Fundraised moneys and/or contributions may be used to purchase uniforms.

3. As you consider uniform orders, please keep the following points in mind:

A. Primary colors for Smoky Hill High School are Forest and Scarlet.

B. White and light gray are considered neutral colors that may accent/complement red and green garments.

C. Written rationale requesting permission to deviate from the above stipulations must be presented to the Athletics office prior to the placement and approval of any order.

Team Clothing

1. Each coach, with the input of his/her team members, may elect to order team T-shirts, sweatshirts, or similar item.

2. The item(s) are to be made available for purchase only to members of the team/group and their parents. Items may be offered for sale to the general public only with the consent of the Director of Athletics.

3. The cost of these items is to be borne by the individual purchaser(s).

4. The coach is responsible for adhering to established District purchasing procedures, including the use of purchase orders and the obtaining of competitive quotes unless Booster Club or fundraised money is used.

5. The coach is responsible for the wording, logo, and graphic(s) to be used.

A. Please submit your proposed graphic, and wording, to the Student Athletics Office for review.
