Station 1: Watch the video about informational (nonfiction) texts. Think about books you have read or listened to at school or at home. Were any of them informational (nonfiction) texts?
Station 2: Listen to the informational text about cheetahs twice and answer the discussion questions. Use the anchor charts to help you remember.
Station 3: Complete the online Main Idea game.

Note: Complete the activities below at your own pace. They do not all have to be completed in one day.
Station 1: Watch the video twice. While watching, have an adult help you make a list of the informational text features discussed, or you can make a circle map. See the Directions/Guiding Questions Page for an example. You can also use these anchor charts to help you.
Station 2: Read the non-fiction book American Football (https://www.raz-kids.com/) with an adult’s assistance if needed. While reading, see if you can find and name all of the text features from your list or circle map and the anchor chart. When you’re finished, answer the comprehension questions to make sure you understand what you read.
Station 3: Complete the IXL Activity.
