Week 1, Lesson 1: K.2B: I can read, write, and represent whole numbers from 0 to 10 with and without objects or pictures.

Directions:

Reading Numbers Practice:

  1. Click on the image and it will send you to the ABCYA link. Watch the video. Click on numbers 1-10 and then choose 1 grid at a time until you have completed all 3 grids.

  2. After you watch the video, see if you can find the numbers 0 - 10 on items in your home. (Example, use a box of cereal or can of soup and see if you can find the numbers 0 - 10 on it.)

  1. Watch the video 2 times.

  2. Look at the Anchor Chart for Different Ways to Represent Numbers

  3. Practice representing the numbers below:

7 in 3 different ways

5 in 6 different ways

9 in 4 different ways

  3. Practice writing your numbers 0 - 10 using a pencil, pen or crayon on a piece of paper.

  4. Practice writing your numbers starting with 10 - 0 using a pencil, pen or crayon on a piece of paper.
