食農教育

Cheng gong elementary is starting Food and Agricultural Education from 2010


In addition to apply this plan from Agriculture and Food Agency, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yua,  the school is also engaged in the peasant association of agricultural resources and professional advices. We  have the full support of parents committee, faculty and volunteers of campus integrate  the concept of healthy eating and agronomic experience into the course of the implementation of the organic rice and vegetable gardens in a variety of activities. 


Each year of fifth Grade  students is required to do cultivate with climate and other natural phenomena of a season, includes planting, seeding, harvest and other process to understand the sweat Wo Geo sense of hardship and the concept of land can be nurtured to understand   the philosophy about April showers bring May flowers in the course of the organic rice.

 

In the course of the garden vitality, We advocate the concept of carbon footprint into local, plant the seasonal vegetables in local and adopt cultivation methods of organic agriculture law. 


Besides, we expect students to learn about organic agriculture law, customary law line, the impact on the environment and on the vegetables after the harvest, so our students are required regular weeding, fertilizing and recording the growth of the plants in the classroom. After that they are able to make simple food production and taste courses to promote eating etiquette and agriculture secondary processing methods. 


The school is also planning to plant in gardens and windows and use the landscapes of philosophy in schools in the corner, in addition to the campus environment, landscaping and low-carbon life and wing continued Home Philosophy  to carry to students so that they can experience to participate in cooperative learning about the relationship of life, people and the environment. 

成功國小自99年度即開始推廣食農教育

近年來除了申請農糧署的推廣計畫,亦結合在地農會的食農資源及專業諮詢,除了家長會的全力支持外,在教職員工及校園志工的協助努力下,持續將農事體驗及健康飲食的理念融入課程,實施有機稻米及活力菜園的各項課程活動。

在有機稻米的課程部分,每屆的五年級學生均需配合節氣進行耕作,包含育苗、插秧、巡田水、曬田、收割等過程,讓學生在參與農事中能體會「汗滴禾下土」的辛勞並感念土地能孕育滋養萬物,進而懂得「飲水思源」的哲理。

在活力菜園的課程,融入地產地消及碳足跡的概念,種植當地當季的蔬菜,採有機農法的種植方式。

此外學生需定期除草、施肥、並記錄植物的生長情形,並期許學生能了解有機農法和慣行農法對環境的影響差異,且在蔬菜採收後能於課堂上簡易料理的製作及品味課程,以推廣飲食禮儀及農業二級加工的方法。

學校亦規劃在花圃及窗台種植農作,將可食風景的理念在校園的角落中實施,除了美化校園環境外,並低碳生活及永續家園的理念傳承給學生,使學生能在參與的過程中體會合作學習、人與生活、人與環境的重要價值。
