English Extension 2

This course requires students to complete a Major Work. 

In Year 12 English Extension 2, students develop a sustained, original composition and reflect on their experiences of this process. 

The Major Work may be imaginative, investigative, interpretive, analytical, or any combination of these. 

The ongoing systematic and rigorous investigation of their chosen form is documented in a journal. A Reflection Statement on the process of composition is also required. 

Particular Course Requirements: 

Year 12 Extension 2 students complete 3 formal assessments: Viva Voce, Literature Review, Creative Process Critique
