Title III Funding consultation
Title III, Part A of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA/ESEA) provides federal monies to local school districts as formula grants to implement supplemental instructional programs for ELs. Local educational agencies that do not meet the $10,000 threshold must join a consortium. These funds may be used for instructional materials, family engagement activities, and professional development, as long as they are supplementary.
Services Include:
Providing guidance on acceptable use of funds under Title III
Providing support and resources to districts that are part of the Title III Consortium
Provide guidance and answer questions related to Title III funds, budgets, and EL programs and supports
Gather and share resources with Title III Consortium members
