Coaching Network

Coaching is intentional, job-embedded professional learning designed to support teachers and staff in implementing practices with fidelity. Coaching takes place after training and happens while practitioners are doing their work.

Priorities Include: 

• Providing professional development and facilitated planning opportunities to engage instructional coaches in deepening their coaching practice and content knowledge - specifically literacy and mathematics content knowledge. 

• Observing, coaching, and planning with coaches to assist them in supporting educators in the implementation of best practices in instruction and assessment.  

• Supporting the specific role of coaching leadership in advancing equity for all of Wisconsin’s students

• Supporting the role of coaches as change agents

• Supporting coaching capacity in courageous conversations
