Learning Services

The Learning Services Department provides leadership in standards, curriculum, assessment, instruction, data and accountability, professional development, educator effectiveness, and leadership/administration to enhance all students’ learning. Learning Services strives toward excellence in teaching and learning for all PK-12 administrators, teachers and their students.

Services Include: 

• Support in all subject areas including: 

  • • Literacy Services

    • Mathematics

    • Social Studies

    • Science

    • Computer Science

    • Arts

    • STEM

• Liaison between school districts and the DPI for the region in areas of standards, curriculum, assessment, data, accountability, educator effectiveness

• Customized District Support—each district receives customized support, consultation and facilitation from CESA 7 learning specialists according to their level of partnership.  The many possibilities of support options are detailed on the Learning Services Custom Design Options page and include:

  • School and district improvement planning and support

    • • Strategic Planning

      • Best practices in instructional design and delivery

      • Assessment and data practices training and support

• Problem solve local school improvement issues

• Some professional development opportunities are offered to CESA 7 districts at no cost through a partnership with WI DPI
