BAART (Bay Area Addiction Research & Treatment) programs provide outpatient low-cost, medication-assisted treatment with methadone or buprenorphine supported by substance use counseling. 

SERVICES PROVIDED: Outpatient methadone and buprenorphine detoxification; outpatient methadone and buprenorphine maintenance; individual and group counseling and addiction services for adult opiate-addicted population age 18+, pregnant women and HIV with opiate addiction; self-help groups such as Methadone Anonymous.

ELIGIBILITY: 

Individuals 18 of age and over; pregnant women; and HIV with opiate addiction. Must have Medicaid or Medicare. 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Valid identification and evidence of opioid addiction
