SHEPARD'S GATE
Shepard's Gate's Shelter Program in Livermore and Brentwood is designed to address the immediate needs of single women or mothers with children. Clients may stay up to one year and time may be extended. It provides Christian-oriented (nondenominational) counseling referrals and spiritual guidance for clients. The program allows for the opportunity to establish long-term goals, discover areas of need and allow for a time of rest and healing. This is accomplished through intentional structured time away from distractions.

Winter Nights Family Shelter provides shelter for homeless families in Contra Costa County as well as a Safe Parking Program to individuals, couples, and families living in their vehicles. Shelter is located at various churches, and rotate from Orinda on the west to Danville on the south to Antioch on the East/North. Shelter moves every two weeks between the meeting rooms of local faith communities. Large tents, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, bed linens, and towels are supplied.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
