“Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or in the same way”- John Evans
My great passion is to ensure that students with learning differences are provided with the tools they need to thrive. I enjoy working with the Special Needs community and learning about the ways families need to be supported. As a mother to a severely impaired child, I can appreciate the questions and concerns that families face on a daily basis.
My area of expertise is Transition Services and the Adult Transition Program. I am so excited and proud of the innovative program we have built and the approach we have taken to deliver these services.
My educational background includes an M.A in Human Development with a Special Education Teaching Credential from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena. I have a B.S. from the University of Southern California in Public Policy and Management in Los Angeles. Currently I am working on a Doctorate of Education through Brandman University in Irvine. I expect to be completed by 2022.
Any free time is devoted to my family and StarWars Cosplay.
