Lily Pauly "Gold Tooth"

My idea was to make a realistic mouth with gold teeth. I wanted to challange myself with something new. I saw a picture on pintrest one day and i wanted to make one. I first started sketching out the lips and the teeth. I then went in and started painting. I used three different brushes. I used a lot of black and white for this. For the lips I used my thinnest brush to make the little crevices in the lips. For the inside of the mouth i tried to make it as relistic as possible. This painting has no meaning. The most difficult part was the gold teeth. It was hard to make them look realistic and the shadows made it even worse becuase all the teeth are different. I probaly wouldnt really change anything if i started over. The style of this painting is realistic. I love that it looks realistic.
