Realistic
My idea was for a cute sculpture that i can just do for fun. It evolbed from when i was looking in the molds i found this one and i thought it was cute. My process for this piiece was i started by picking the mold i wanted to do. Next i mixed the slip together to get a thick peanut butter consistency, and poured the slip into the mold. I had to make sure that the mold had tight rubber bands around it so the cracks were closley pressed together. Then I had let that sit for a few days. When it was dried i trimmed the edges and smoothed the surface so that i didnt have to file much of it. I didn't have time to paint it becuase i just finished it the last 2 classes, but i would paint it in the summer. There is no meaning behind it. This piece was pretty simple the hardest part is probaly pouring the clay into the mold just becuase it takes a while becuase its so thick, and it pours out the sides sometimes. I think that this piece is pretty realistic. I love the way this turned out I think it is so cute and it is tiny.
