Timeline for Securing a Seat
9 March RD Sends out initial email soliciting quota requests.
1 April Unit quota requests are submitted to the RD.
Late submissions not accepted.
15 April RD assigns quotas to selected schools.
RD places any unused quotas out for use by other RDs
1 May Schools provide names to RD for each quota assigned.
Below are the seven (07) Camp Opportunities Addressed by this Email
1. National MCJROTC Drill Camp
8 to 14 July 2023

Who should attend? Drill team members who can become "train the trainers" for your drill team.
Instructors can also attend. Instructors will have a separate training schedule from the cadets.
Number of Quotas for the Region: 36 cadets. 6 Instructors.

2. Senior Cadet Leadership Camp (SLC)

17 to 23 July 2023

Who should attend? Rising cadet LE III and IV leaders in your program.
Number of Quotas for the Region: 24 cadets (12 schools will be selected).

3. Raider Competition Instructor Preparation Course

Who should attend? MCJROTC Instructors who want to have a raider team at their unit.

4. Senior Cadet Leadership Camp (SLC) (1st Iteration)

Who should attend? Rising LE III and IV cadet leaders in your program.
Number of Quotas for the Region: 36 cadets (18 schools will be selected).

Who should attend? Rising LE III and IV cadet leaders in your program.
Number of Quotas for the Region: 36 cadets (18 schools will be selected).

6. Cyber STEM Camp (2 Weeks)
Fork Union Military Academy
16 - 29 July 2023
Fork Union , VA
Who should attend? Schools that have active Cyber Patriot teams. Cadets will have the opportunity to earn college credit and cyber certifications. This is not for the novice cadet.
Number of Quotas for the Region: 30 cadets (15 schools will be selected).
