Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
There's something special about the tradition of cheering on local high school teams under the Friday night lights.
The MCJROTC of the combined Eastern View and Culpeper High School is planning a field trip to the historic Culpeper Battlefield Site on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. The students will travel by school buses to enjoy a guided tour through the battle site; they will park at the famous hilltop (Brandy Station). The cadets will learn US history, Survival Ropes, and Land Navigation courses using a compass, as this is all part of the MCJROTC Curriculum. We highly encourage every cadet and those in the JROTC club and their family members to attend the historic Culpeper battlefield Site with us.
The annual Marine Corps Birthday Ball is a celebration of Marine Corps history and traditions. It represents where the Marine Corps started and where it is now; while giving us a glimpse of the past, present and future.
The Culpeper Sheriff’s Office Christmas Parade is a family-friendly event for all ages, and every entry in the parade is expected to respect this.
Homecoming is an American tradition. It's tailor-made for the social customs of high schools and universities all over this country, and being so, it reflects the values of the cultures therein. Homecoming is the tradition of welcoming back former students and members and celebrating an organization's existence.
Field trips enrich the study of classroom instruction, enabling students to supplement their studies with an up-close look at locations, artifacts, documents, and memorials. These trips offer students the opportunity to better relate to the world around them by learning more about it.

> MCJROTC Award night is an evening where the Cadets who are graduating are recognized for their commitment to the team over the last four years. Aside from mentioning the senior Cadets, other Cadets who have achieved success over the school year will be awarded
Academic achievement is the top priority of Culpeper County High School. Consequently, we have multiple ways that we recognize academic excellence, effort, and growth. Awards and recognitions vary in nature; some are standards based and some are a result of applications and/or teacher and committee selection.
Approximately 80 Cadets from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Platoon, participated in MCJROTC's field meet Friday, on EVHS Bus Loop. The purpose of the meet was to foster camaraderie and give Cadets an opportunity to do what they do best in competition. They competed in Red/Light & Green Light game, Drills "Knock" Off, Kick Ball, and Tug-of-War.
