Reflection:
This course gave me a new perspective on education. Before taking this class I thought of education as a relationship between students and teachers in which I taught them and they learned. I never thought of studying what I do by collecting data and analyzing that data to become a more effective educator. The course was constructed in a module format that had lessons that built off of one another. Each lesson taught me something new that I could use in my own action research project. At the end of the course I had constructed an action research project that analyzed the effectiveness of using Google Classroom vs. Google Sites as a Learning Management system. I ended up building two different units that used both learning tools and I analyzed the effectiveness of each one. My conclusions led me to contact Google to give them possible suggestions on how to improve Google Classroom. I found out I wasn't the only one, because Google made major changes to Google Classroom over the summer that helped improve is organization for teachers and students.
