LTC Paul Harwart

Bio: Colonel Paul Harwart, a retired US Army Veteran, is the senior army instructor of the JROTC program and the CTAE Department Head. Colonel Hartwart has an Education Degree from Fort Hays State University. Colonel Harwart led the LFO JROTC to improve its certification level to the highest standard. We received the ‘Honor Unit with Distinction’ certification and have held that status. Colonel Harwart is inspired by seeing students demonstrate what they’ve learned. “When they’ve learned how to be a better citizen… they are achieving the mission of JROTC,” said Colonel Harwart. 

1SG Anthony Heath

Bio: First Sergeant Anthony Heath is the Army Instructor at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School (LFO). He has been at LFO for 17 years. First Sergeant Heath retired from the US Army Infantry after 22 years of active service. Currently he coaches the boys Cross Country team, JROTC Raider team, and JROTC Drill Team. His education includes a Master degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Hobbies include hiking, camping, and fishing.
