HERE ARE THE STEPS IN CREATING A COLLAR

A = starting point

A-B = 1 1/8 inches upward

B-C = 1 1/2 inches upward

A-D = 1/2 of the neckline measurement. Square upward point D and mark E then extend and mark F

D-G = 3/4 inch backward. Square point G upward and mark point H then extend and mark I. Mark point 1 beside the H then extend 1 - 2 23/4 inches. Shape the point H to D with a French curve.
