HERE ARE THE STEPS IN CREATING A SLEEVE PATTERN
A = Create a perpendicular line and mark the starting point as A
A-B = 4 inches ( for the cap height) downward
A-C = sleeve length ( downward)
C-D = 1 inch downward
A-E = 1/2 of the armhole measurement. Find the center and mark the point F
G = The center of A and F.
H= The center of F and E.
C-I = 1/2 of arm girth ( forward), then connect E and I using a ruler.
C-J = 1 inch upward
J-K = is the equal measurement of D-J
Create/make a perpendicular line and mark the intersection point as A.
2. A-B = 4 inches ( for the cap height) downward
3. A-C = sleeve length ( downward)
4. C-D = 1 inch downward.
5. A-E = 1/2 of the armhole measurement. Find the center and mark the point F
6. G = The center of A and F. Measure 1/2 inches above the line.
7. H= The center of F and E then measure 1/4 inches below the line.
8. C-I = 1/2 of arm girth ( forward), then connect E and I using a ruler.
J-K = is the equal measurement of D-J
9. C-J = 1 inch upward
10. J-K = is the equal measurement of D-J
11. Connect the line of A passing the line of G to F using the French curve.
12. Connect the line of F passing the mark of H to E using the French curve.
