I would have my future students take this assessment to help me gauge and conform my future lesson plans to be more tailor fit towards their needs.
I have started on a website to show future employers, parents, and students my teaching philosophy, Portfolio, current college learning status, contact info, previous lesson plans I have used, and other websites I like to reference into my personal teaching toolbox. It is still a work in progress.
Knowing a student's motivation can help a teacher design a lesson that is more tailored fit to the individual student and the class. Teaching to encourage intrinsic learning is more helpful for a student in their long term life than the short term extrinsic teaching methods that only help in the here and now part of their life.
