On April 29th, 2022, from 9am to 3pm we will host our inaugural Women's Leadership Conference at the Broomfield United Methodist Church, where we have invited influential women to speak to high school and middle school girls about leadership and women's empowerment.
Our mission is to empower young women by organizing and creating a conference that will expand their knowledge of capabilities and opportunities in the future. All of the money made by this conference will go directly to the Denver based non-profit organization CWEE: Center for Work Education and Employment
WE means #WEareCapable, #WEare Smart, #WEare Beautiful, #WEareStrong,#WEareConfident, which stands for Women Empowerment. People in a past always thought that women couldn't do anything more successfully than their male counterparts, so women around the world at that time often denied or discouraged when trying to pursue an action.
We're looking for women today who are willing to share their experiences about what they have done to overcome the negative connotations, willing to speak up about their experiences when facing difficulties in their educational effort and everyday work life, who would like to share how they can overcome the impossible beauty standards, proving that women can incredibly strong physically and mentally, also who are ready to speak about their confidence and self-confident in their own abilities.
The Center for Work Education and Employment (CWEE) supports vulnerable workers, mostly single moms, to train for and launch careers. CWEE addresses the root causes of poverty by providing a path to long-term employment for hundreds of Denver-area families each year.
CWEE is among Denver’s leading comprehensive anti-poverty organizations and over 40 years has pioneered more effective ways to help struggling families.
Through public-private partnerships, CWEE leverages the community’s investment in public benefit programs to provide skills training and supportive services that move families from poverty to self-sufficiency.
A very big special thanks to Nothing Bundt Cakes Boulder, who has kindly offered to sponsor our conference this year!
