Ibrahim Ware

Animal Behavior '24

My name is Ibrahim Ware, I am a third-year student studying Animal Behavior at Bucknell University. I have, and always will be fascinated by the natural world and the diversity of life on this planet. Childhood trips to the library and local parks helped fuel my interest in wildlife, conservation and environmental education. I am excited to be a member of the Takahashi lab to broaden my perspective, knowledge, and understanding of the scientific world, as well as the organisms who have captured my love and appreciation.

Outside of the classroom, I am involved with Religious and Spiritual life on campus, holding leadership roles within the Muslim Students Association and the Multi-Faith Fellows Cohort. I try to volunteer regularly at Bucknell’s Farm and enjoy spending time in nature. I often engage in creative writing, meditation and reading in my spare-time.

My post-graduate plans include possibly pursuing graduate degrees in Animal Behavior, Zoology, and/or Marine Biology. Career-wise, I would like to be active in wildlife conservation and education, sharing my passion for animals with the hopes of increasing respect and understanding amongst the global community.
