My name is Elaine Lee and I am a second-year student studying Animal Behavior at Bucknell University. I've had a passion for all kinds of animals since childhood. Whether it was through watching nature documentaries, wildlife shows, game warden series, or simply exploring the garden to observe insects, birds, and catch small animals. As I've gotten older, my interest in wildlife conservation has also grown, especially given the increasing concern about climate change threatening our ecosystem's diversity. I’m excited to be a member of the Takahashi lab to hopefully gain valuable experience on studying amphibians and animals in general so I can do more to help effectively further the conservation efforts behind them.

Outside of academic work, I enjoy just spending my free time relaxing by playing video games with my friends. I also like to draw and spend time on various arts and crafts such as sculpting.

After graduation, I am still unsure whether I will try pursuing a graduate degree. Ideally I would like to work within the animal conservation field as a career but don’t know which path to focus on with so many different options. Regardless, I hope to be able to work with and help animals in the future.
