I am from Stebbins, born and raised. I’ve worked her at the school as a sub for two years, but this is my first year working full time in a permanent position.
I like working here because I love kids. When I’m not at work I like to spend time with my family.
This school year I’m looking forward to working with the kids.
I am from Stebbins; I grew up here most of my life. I’ve moved in an out of Stebbins for school. After graduating from here I moved to Emmonak to babysit for my brother. I came back, and in October 2016 and started working in the school. I have been working here ever since. I am excited to see what this school year will bring.
I like working here because I get to watch the students grow and learn. I love their creativity, their imagination, and their humor. I love my co-workers, too. They share the most amazing stories. They’re there when I need a laugh, a hug, or even an “I told you so talk.” I wouldn’t want it any other way.
For those of you who don’t know, I have a 2 year old. Her name is Annalise. She is amazing, and I am beyond blessed to have her. When I’m not working, I love to take naps, walks, and rides with Annalise. If we aren’t doing any of those we are either watching cartoons and relaxing or singing and dancing in our room. I love spending time with my siblings and their children as well. I also enjoy singing, writing poetry, and drawing when I have time. I love to play volleyball and basketball. I also love to run.
I am looking forward to learning and growing with the students and also to get to know them a lot more. I am looking forward to building relationships with everyone.

Hello my name is Bridgette Wongittilin. I grew up here and in Savoonga. I went back and forth as a kid but as I got older I began to like it here so I stayed here.
I recently got hired to work here in the school. Before that I had been a sub since 2017, but this year I’m really excited to be working with the kids. It’s something I’m looking forward to.
Before coming to work for the BSSD I would spend my time babysitting for some teachers or my family. What I like about working here is that I get to see my nephews and nieces accomplish school. Usually when I’m not at work I’m home doing something with my nieces and nephews if not I just spent my time by myself. (FYI I am not a student so please don’t tell me to go to class lol)
