Battle Royales Will Never be an E-Sport

I just got back into Apex Legends after playing Titanfall 2 quite a bit more. That got me thinking about RNG in video games. RNG stands for random number generator. If you didn’t know, it’s mostly referred to as luck-based mechanics in video games, such as a battle royale’s looting system. Apex is probably one of the better battle royales with this, but shields, guns, and heals are all random. You either get them or you don’t, and while you can kill someone who is maybe luckier than you, they have in advantage in that matchup. When playing at the highest level the person with the advantage should win. It's one of the reasons I hate Overwatch-character imbalance-but that’s a different story for a different day.

The thing about games like Overwatch is that anyone can pick those characters, but you can’t guarantee better loot. Battle royales will never be an E-Sport because of the random number generator. Everything has to be consistent-it’s why they play on LAN-which stands for local area network-to wire the computers together without having to wait for wifi to catch up. They do that to remove latency, which, in turn, removes randomness of latency. You might also say things about random recoil in games like Rainbow Six Siege, but the thing is that you can still play around that because it will still follow a certain pattern. While it is fun to watch tournaments of things like Apex or Warzone, they just simply can’t be considered an E-Sport. Imagine a basketball game, but one hoop is 2 feet lower than the other-one team will always have an advantage, it isn’t fair, and that’s why they have to make everything consistent. It’s the same for E-Sports.

People may consider these games to be competitive, and I agree, they can’t be considered an E-Sport, they would have to be renamed to a different sort of archetype of E-Sports, something specific to battle royales, or to remove RNG which is against the laws of battle royales.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Quarantine is a three-player, tactical co-op shooter set several years in the future of the Rainbow Six Universe it’s not out yet but if you watch the gameplay trailer, you are sure to like the game.

Gameplay

Rainbow Six Quarantine expands on the grounds of Rainbow six siege's outbreak mode, which offered the first divergence from competitive roots as a limited-time event. Developed under a standalone team at Ubisoft Montreal, the title capitalizes on Record success for the rainbow six brands, currently on track for a 2020 release.

Elijah: I’ve seen the trailer and it seems alright because I loved Rainbow six siege and it's one of my favorite games and Ubisoft which is the creators of the games and is epic and I think it will be good.

Nintendo Switch Lite Review

A Nintendo switch lite is a portable device that comes in gray,yellow,or teal. one thing that I would change about the switch lite is that it doesn't have a kickstand,so you have to hold it in your hand for whenever you wanna play. It was primarily made for people who play single player Nintendo and on the go, so it is 100 dollars cheaper than the Original NIntendo Switch.

Another thing that is good about the switch lite is that it has seven hours of battery life.but you can't play any games that need to have detachable joycons, like mario kart. Also, You cannot play on a TV because of how the joy cons do not detach from the screen.

All though these reasons the switch lite is 7.5/10

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a semi open-world action role-playing game developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, based on the Dragon Ball franchise, released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Gameplay

Along the Dragon Ball Z adventure, it follows the adventures of Goku (the main character in the Dragon Ball franchise) who, along with the Z Warriors, defends the Earth against evil. The action adventures are entertaining and reinforce the concept of good versus evil. Dragon Ball Z teaches valuable character virtues such as teamwork, loyalty, and trustworthiness.

Pros and Cons of the game

Pros: Combat steadily improves as the game wears on, with plenty to see and do in the open-world areas. There is fan service of over 9,000 and it has good graphics.

Cons: Uninteresting side quests and overfamiliar plot. There are unintuitive flight controls and some technical issues. But these issues might get fixed over time.

Minecraft Review

Minecraft is a game that came out on May 17 2009. If you don't know what Minecraft is, this review will show you.

Minecraft is a multiplayer game that you can play with your friends on any device, with many things to do in the world that you spawn in. Some things you can do is make a house, adventure, and mine for diamonds, which is one of the rarest ores in minecraft.

In Minecraft, you can make a skin that you can show your friends or buy one from the mine store. In the store you can buy coins to get realms, skins, and pets for certain servers.

Did you know that you can download mods to make mobs more realistic or more epic? For example, you can play hardcore minecraft so it makes it harder, and if you die you don’t respawn. One thing I would change is put java and hardcore Minecraft on other devices like Xbox.

This is why minecraft is the best game on any device.

Roblox Game Review

All the online games you see on the platform have been built by members of the Roblox community for members of the Roblox community.

Natural disaster survival

Natural Disaster Survival is a disaster survival game created by Stickmasterluke. It is one of the oldest and most popular disaster survival games on the platform alongside Survive The Disasters. Also in natural disasters you try and survive against other roblox players and try and be the last one standing. Maps can vary from volcanoes to meteor showers and I think this game is pretty fun and you should play it.

Pros and cons of having an Xbox

Most people play PC or PS4, but Xbox Ones are amazing. But, there are some cons too.

Pros

A couple of pros on Xbox is that you have unlimited cloud service, and if you have a cool screen shot you can share it with you friends! Also, you can play offline games if you don’t have the internet.

When you have an xbox it has a smooth gaming experience to enjoy while gaming. Finally, If you have an Xbox it is quieter when you run a game, against when you use a ps4 or a not-top end PC.

Cons

Some cons are that Xbox ones can be expensive, and they can cost up to $230. And you have to pay to play online with others.

Also, If you want to lend a friend a game, they have to log into your account and play for free or pay if they want to play in their own Xbox.

As you have read, Xbox Ones have some amazing pro’s, but some deal-breaking cons for some.

Spider-Man Game Review

The game starts off with Peter Parker (Spider Man) getting suit up to beat Wilson Fisk. Then when he is finally done with the montage he looks around the apartment to find that he needs to pay his bills (will be mentioned later.) He decides to fight Fisk and jumps out the window, doing some web slinging action (Fwipp-fwipp.) He gets a call from Yuri, A police captain, telling him to help out other police man that are being blocked by Fisks men. Then that is basically the beginning of Spider-Man PS4.

The controls are really easy to remember and the mechanics are super good. Traveling around the city is really amazing and has nice feeling when playing. Spider-Man PS4 may be the best Spider-Man game at the moment unlike the games before. This game is perfect for people that want an action based adventure.
