This week's student of the week is Jesus. Mr. Lee chose Jesus because he worked hard in class and was an overall good student. I asked Jesus what his inspiration was and he said: “I get good grades because I want to show off to my friends and get a good job in the future!” I also asked Jesus what his favorite subject was and he said: “humanities because I love my teacher Mr. Lee, and he makes it easier to learn.” The last thing I asked Jesus was why he chose to stay at Raleigh Hills. Jesus said, “ I liked the community and I lived nearby.”

For student of the week I chose Hannah Kaufmann, an eighth-grade student in choir. She has been at this school since 3rd grade. She excels in her classes and is a role model for her school. I asked her what her inspiration for continuing her hard work is and she said, “Can't stop now! I want to make my parents proud.” She focuses on math and science because she wants to be an architect. Her biggest takeaway from middle school is all the great relationships she made. She stays focused in school by setting goals for herself and remaining positive. Hannah is an amazing student overall.
Thank you to Hannah Kaufmann!
