Journal of Undergraduate Research
This journal was founded in 2008 and based at the Office of Undergraduate Research and Artistry in the Institute for Learning and Teaching, Colorado State University. It is an undergraduate run publishing house, their flagship product being the Journal of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Excellence, printed annually and open to students internationally.
Reinvention: An International Journal of Undergraduate Research
Reinvention:An International Journal of Undergraduate Research was founded through the Reinvention Centre jointly by Warwick and Oxford Brookes University in 2007. The journal welcomes academic articles from all disciplinary areas and all universities.
Journal Young Investigators
Anyone who has written a manuscript during his or her undergraduate studies is welcome to submit. JYI only publishes original work written by undergraduate students mentored by a faculty member of an institution.

Digital Literature Review
The Digital Literature Review is an academic journal edited, produced, and published by undergraduate students partnered with the English Department at Ball State University, the goal being to showcase the valuable contributions of hardworking, creative students from all over the world.
Queen City Writers
Established in 2012, QCW is a refereed journal that publishes essays and multimedia work by undergraduate students affiliated with any post-secondary institution. They also publish reviews, snapshots of writers, and comments. Issues are published twice a year in fall and spring. They seek thought-provoking pieces from any disciplinary perspective that explore questions and problems related to writing, rhetoric, reading, pedagogy and teacher-training, literacy broadly conceived, popular culture and media, community discourses, and multimodal and digital composing.
ANTHROPOLOGY
Anthropology Now/ Anthrozine
Anthropology Now is an independent initiative committed to claiming a public voice for anthropology. Set up as a way to share anthropology with the ‘well-informed reader’ it accepts shorter submissions (3500-4000 words) and aims at being jargon-free with vivid ethnographic narratives. The journal accepts student work of various sorts for the website as well (fieldnotes, findings, reviews, poetry, art, etc.). Anthrozine is designed specifically to “encourage student creativity through anthropology by publishing works from college students and recent grads that explores their individual encounter with our discipline.”
Canopy

Canopy is an in-house publication with contributions from staff, students and visiting speakers at Oxford Brookes University about their primatology research. The aim of Canopy is to provide the wider primatology and conservation community with a representation of selected current and past works undertaken by UG and MSc students and acts as a medium for communication between past and present students, those working in primatology, and those with a general interest in the topics covered in these issues.
Journal of Undergraduate Ethnography
The Journal for Undergraduate Ethnography (JUE) seeks to distribute original student-produced work from a variety of disciplinary areas. Our goal is to bring readers, especially other undergraduates, insights into subcultures, rituals, and social institutions. We expect crossovers with anthropology, sociology, area/regional studies, American studies, urban studies as well as programs in education and marketing. The JUE encourages current undergraduates or those who have graduated within the past twelve months to submit original ethnographic manuscripts for consideration. Manuscripts may include research on any subject.
NEXUS: The Canadian Student Journal of Anthropology
Nexus attempts to present a cross section of current student work from any area of anthropology, and to advance scholarship through anonymous peer review. We believe that each sub-field interacts and informs the others and actively encourage submissions from any area of the discipline of anthropology. Submissions consist of original ongoing research and/or reviews of current anthropological issues. Critical reviews of current publications of anthropological interest are also included.
The Unfamiliar: An Anthropological Journal
The Unfamiliar is a student-run anthropological journal based at the University of Edinburgh. We are dedicated to publishing a wide variety of material, featuring not only academically informed articles and book reviews but creative work such as poetry, photographic essays, and audio-visual projects. Our emphasis is on integrating creative and visual work, and our publishing and editorial policies reflect our commitment to make anthropology more widely accessible. We believe that anthropology should no longer be read and appreciated solely by anthropologists, but benefit broader audiences as well. Sections include: Experiences of fieldwork, creative submissions, essays, visual anthropology, parallel essays, book reviews.

Journal for Global Business and Community
The Journal for Global Business and Community is a multidisciplinary e-journal dedicated to serving those participating in and affected by the global economy. It offers undergraduate students a venue for publishing works that explore the functional dimensions of global business organizations and behaviour, and/or discuss the relationships between these businesses and the global economy with the political, social, cultural, economic, legal, technological and ethical issues derived from those relationships.
Undergraduate Economic Review
The UER is an online journal that promotes high quality original undergraduate economic research by publishing student authored research from around the world. Student editors review submissions and post accepted articles quickly without the delays inherent in print publications. Student authors retain copyright of their articles. While the Department of Economics at Illinois Wesleyan University publishes the UER, faculty advisors and student associate editors from several universities are crucial to its success.
EDUCATION
The International Journal of Higher Education in the Social Sciences
Learning and Teaching (LATISS) is a peer-reviewed journal that uses the social sciences to reflect critically on learning and teaching in the changing context of higher education. The journal invites students and staff to explore their education practices in the light of changes in their institutions, national higher education policies, the strategies of international agencies and developments associated with the so-called international knowledge economy.
Transformations
Transformations is a new, online, open access, peer reviewed journal for undergraduate research in Education. The journal is committed to the publication of original and high- quality student work. Submissions are welcomed from all current or recently graduated Education students.

Mesh
Mesh is the new online journal for undergraduate work across English studies. Mesh publishes high-quality undergraduate work that makes interesting connections between two or more of the various strands of English, including literature, language/linguistics, creative writing, drama, media and film studies.
Lifespans and Styles: Undergraduate Papers in Sociolinguistics
This journal is devoted to innovative, empirical studies of sociolinguistics. It welcomes all articles written by authors at an undergraduate level based on original research.

Art History covers all kinds of art and visual culture across all time periods and geographical areas.
History Matters
History Matters is an undergraduate history journal, published annually on this website by the Department of History at Appalachian State University. The journal is edited by undergraduates with the help of a faculty board. History Matters welcomes submissions from all undergraduates worldwide.
LAW
Oxford University Undergraduate Law Journal
Oxford University Undergraduate Law Journal (OUULJ) is Oxford's only publication for undergraduate legal writing, edited and staffed entirely by students. Founded in 2009, OUULJ is the first undergraduate law journal in the UK. Under the auspices of the Faculty of Law, the OUULJ offers a unique opportunity for law undergraduates at any university to publish their academic legal writing in a recognised law journal and a platform for discourse on legal developments.

The British Undergraduate Journal of Ophthalmology
The British Undergraduate Journal of Ophthalmology is a peer-reviewed, open access, online journal aimed at medical students and junior doctors. BUJO is the official journal of the British Undergraduate Ophthalmology Society. They endeavour to provide articles that will captivate those interested in the field but also the non-specialist.
The British Journal of Sports Medicine
British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM) is a multi-media portal that provides original research, reviews and debate relating to clinically-relevant aspects of sport and exercise medicine, including physiotherapy, physical therapy and rehabilitation. They contribute to innovation (research), education (teaching and learning) and knowledge translation (implementing research into practice and policy).

Nota Bene: Canadian Undergraduate Journal of Musicology
Nota Bene: Canadian Undergraduate Journal of Musicology is a journal of musicology developed by the Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University Canada. It seeks to publish essays of a high critical and rhetorical standard, written by undergraduate students from universities around the world. Essays in historical musicology, ethnomusicology, popular music studies, music theory, music education, and interdisciplinary subjects with a focus on the above are invited.
PHILOSOPHY
Aporia
Aporia is published twice each year, in the fall and in the spring. The fall issue is exclusively online; the spring issue appears in print. They welcome well-written undergraduate papers on any philosophical topic.
The Dualist
The Dualist is a national undergraduate philosophy journal published by Stanford University undergraduates. Its purpose is to offer students from all universities an opportunity to participate in a normally inaccessible part of academic life -- the production and publication of papers for general philosophical readership. Established in 1992, The Dualist has since become the most renowned and prestigious undergraduate philosophy journal in the U.S., featuring thoughtful articles authored by undergraduates around the world.
Episteme
Episteme is a student-run journal that aims to recognize and encourage excellence in undergraduate philosophy by providing examples of some of the best work currently being done in undergraduate philosophy programs. Episteme is distinguished as being the oldest undergraduate philosophy publication of its kind.
Logos
Logos is a refereed journal at Cornell University that publishes undergraduate work in all branches and traditions of philosophy. An entirely student-run journal, Logos publishes undergraduate work in all branches and traditions of philosophy. Undergraduates from around the globe are invited to submit papers annually for peer-review.
Stance: An International Undergraduate Philosophy Journal
Stance: An International UndergraduatePhilosophy Journal is produced and edited entirely by undergraduate students. They aim to enrich student learning by providing an opportunity for undergraduate students to have their original scholarly work reviewed by or published in a peer-reviewed academic journal.
The British Undergraduate Philosophy Society
The BJUP encourages students enrolled in related programmes to submit papers on philosophical issues within their discipline. These subjects include, but are not limited to: Gender Studies and Women’s Studies; Law, Politics and Sociology; Cognitive Sciences (psychology, cognitive anthropology, neuroscience, computing); Natural Sciences (esp. physics and biology)

The Journal of European Psychology Students (JEPS) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal for psychology students worldwide. The Journal of Interpersonal Relations, Intergroup Relations and Identity
The Journal of Interpersonal Relations, Intergroup Relations and Identity (JIRIRI) is an international scientific journal published annually in April. The mission of the JIRIRI is to offer undergraduate students a unique opportunity to fully experience the scientific method from the development of original ideas to their diffusion, through the peer review process. Undergraduate students of all universities are invited to submit their manuscript in French or in English.
The Journal of Undergraduate Ethnic Minority Psychology
JUEMP is designed to accomplish the following: speed the flow of research results; open access to ethnic minority researchers’ and samples’ ideas and knowledge; and encourage undergraduate researchers to conduct, present and publish empirical studies.

The Journal of the Evolutionary Studies Consortium
EvoS Journal: The Journal of the Evolutionary Studies Consortium is a journal designed to promote the education of evolutionary theory in colleges and universities. An evolutionary education provides a framework for enhancing the research and theory in all disciplines, and as such, EvoS Journal welcomes work from all academic disciplines as well as interdisciplinary scholarship that incorporates evolutionary theory across areas of study.
Fine Focus
Fine Focus are an international journal dedicated to showcasing undergraduate research in all fields of microbiology. Fine Focus is managed entirely by undergraduate students from production to print but utilizes an external editorial board of experts for double-blind peer review of manuscripts.
Impulse
IMPULSE is the first international, online neuroscience journal for undergraduate publications. Submissions are reviewed by students worldwide under faculty guidance, and articles are immediately published online as they are accepted.
MarSci
MarSci is an inter-institutional venue for publishing undergraduate research manuscripts pertaining to the marine and aquatic sciences. MarSci is looking for diverse submissions from any student at any institution. Future issues will feature research manuscripts, posters and abstracts, student articles, words of advice from faculty members, and upcoming deadlines and events (undergraduate research programs and student-friendly conferences)
McGill Science Undergraduate Research Journal
When the McGill Science Undergraduate Research Journal (MSURJ) launched in Fall 2005 as a student-run initiative to promote and support undergraduate research, it was one of North America’s first peer-reviewed journal devoted to undergraduate work. The journal offers undergraduate students from any university the unique opportunity to publish their findings to the McGill research community.
TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING
Intersect
Intersect is an international, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, STS-focused, academic research journal run by undergrads. Intersect publishes online quarterly at intersect.stanford.edu and is regularly cited in Google Scholar. Intersect is an open access journal, meaning it provides free public access to its content to support a greater global exchange of knowledge. Intersect publishes three times during each academic year at Stanford: at the end of Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarters. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
