- SCRIPTS -

This was the first script of our Martin Scorsese based project 'King of Clubs.' It was an interesting journey trying to include the structure and methods of Scorsese in a semi-original story.

This was the first idea i had and the reason why i stuck with it is because it made the most sense to me. I wanted a small intimate scene between two people who know each other, just put into a mafia setting.

The second and final draft

This was the second draft as well as the script used in the production of the film. The changes we made were mainly in the dialogue as it was clumpy and didn't flow properly. As well as that there were minor changes to when music comes in, certain actions and how it would look on screen compared to just in our heads.

These differences would ultimately make the film look better ten fold so it's good that we made the changes.

- LOCATIONS -

There were several issues with locations due to a us essentially being removed from the locations. Although we had booked out the location we intended on using, it had gotten overridden putting us in an awkward position of having zero footage by the end of the final week of school. This resulted in a nervous two weeks of sorting out a new location. We were eventually able to use one of our crews house as a location which meant for several changes to be made. Not worthy of making a third script but it did need some reconsidering.

- EQUIPMENT -

Nikon d3500

To record we used a mixture of a nikon [number] with an 18-55m lens as well as an iphone 12 pro max. We used the camera for all of the stationary shots while using the iPhone (attached to a DJI osmo 3 gimbal)

DJI OSMO 3

We used a DJI osmo to create extremely steady shots that aided in creating the tracking shots

Zoom h1

We used a zoom h1 handy recorder to record the audio. We didn't have a boom but we did have a mic shield which helped eliminate any wind while recording.
