Subject progression maps

Each subject has a progression map split into 3 strands. These are our 'Big Ideas' which lead towards our end goal for pupils at the end of their primary education.

 Key learning points are repeated, built upon and gradually increase in depth to ensure progression within the year group and across the school.

In addition, key knowledge based vocabulary has been identified for each unit in each year group to ensure coverage and progression of language.

Below is our 'Language of Learning' document, which is also progressive, and highlights those words associated with learning that are covered in each year group.
