LOCAL CURRICULUM & STANDARDS COMMITTEE MEMBERS

We are looking for volunteers to join a Local Curriculum & Standards Committee. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have an interest in the education of our young people and who are able to commit to attending 3 meetings plus 2-3 school visits a year.

 

The committee will be made up of; staff members from each school, parents representing each school and a community representative.

 

The Local Curriculum & Standards Committee member will:

·         Be able to think critically and understand the needs of the local area

·         Be responsible for working within school to ensure that they deliver an outstanding education;

·         Together with the Heads of our schools, help to monitor the schools’ policies and priorities.

·         Be able to work as a team, under the leadership of the Chair of the Committee.

·         Be able to engage with all stakeholders and feedback information to the Trust Board to help improve their work.

 

The main focus of the committees will be the monitoring and review of the 4 S’s:

·         Safeguarding,

·         Standards,

·         Special Educational Needs and Disabilities,

·         Stakeholders.
