Inquiry: My sustained investigation focuses on portraits and utilizing pencils as the main tool for my pieces

Throughout my sustained investigation, I’ve been trying to experiment with different styles and methods of using pencil and paper for my drawings. I primarily focused on portraits of people, as I wanted to practice and improve my shading and ability to incorporate proportions in my pieces. I particularly liked showing contrast with blacks and whites in areas that photographically were much softer before.
