Welcome to the A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies course and well done on your recent GCSE/BTEC results. This is a challenging and incredibly varied course that will push your existing knowledge and skills in both theory and practice. We are exploring new plays, practitioners and practices in your first year and we are looking forward to welcoming and working with you in the new academic year. Please complete the following tasks ready to bring with you on your first timetabled lesson.
Please purchase a pair of plain black leggings/trousers and a plain black t-shirt which you will use for all practical sessions. (Purchase both from Primark for less than £10 in total. NB if you are eligible for the bursary you can claim this back so keep the receipt!)
Please write a fully comprehensive review on a theatre show of your choice that you have seen within the last year. (Use the link and log in details if you would like to review a new show)
Research the following play and produce a powerpoint/poster based on your research: Equus by Peter Schaffer
