Wipe down with detergent wipes then a tissue to remove the chemical residue

Do not use the alcohol wipes..

When you remove any implant instrument or component from the implant cupboard in steri, please follow these steps:

• Collect all the required equipment (eg drivers, impression copings etc)

• For each pouch, take from stock an empty pouch, and write the name of the component on the back of the empty pouch. Use a sharpie.

• Take the full and empty pouches into surgery.

• When the dentist has used the equipment, place it in the matching new pouch and take it to steri for processing.

The Special Access Scheme (SAS) allows certain health practitioners to access therapeutic goods - external site

 (such as medicines, medical devices or biologicals) that are not included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG)  - external site

 for a single patient. Therapeutic goods that are not included in the ARTG (and are not otherwise exempt from being in the ARTG) are described by us as 'unapproved'.
