Leave requests should be negotiated with your line manager, providing sufficient time to make alternate staffing arrangements. If you are planning a holiday please do not not make financial commitments until your leave has been approved. In the case of unexpected absences, see "Reliability and Absences" here.
Leave must be agreed in writing (an email is fine) and must be captured in Xero.
Timesheets must be entered by casual staff in Xero or using the Xero Me app.
From time to time, staff might be asked to travel to another location. Staff who fall under the Award will be reimbursed all agreed costs including mileage, accommodation and meals. However, in all cases staff must take up any offer of car pooling. If supplied transport is rejected, then relevant costs will not be reimbursed.
For staff who are paid hourly, the Award provides no guidance on hourly rates during travel. Bite and TSD will pay for the higher of:
The hours that are usually worked in the default location, or
The hours worked in the temporary location
