Introduction

The Historian has a lot of important roles to play.

The team is going to require:

An understanding of the history of the planet. If you assume that the life forms you encounter can communicate, what questions did you ask? If they cannot, what assumptions are you making? Based on what observations?
Perhaps you can work with the writer to produce an “origin story”.

How do you achieve this?

That's really up to you. Historians usually use the written word, but there are also other mediums such as the spoken word. Talk to your ICT Project Manager, what's going to be the best way of displaying your theories?

I am sure there are lots of other things that I have not mentioned. As Chief Historian it is your job to ensure that you can advise on all things related to History.
