Geographer

The Geographer has a lot of important roles to play.

The team is going to require:

  • An understanding of the environment that you have touched down in. If there are weather patterns what impact will that have on the life forms you encounter / you?

  • An understanding of the surrounding environment on the human team members. How is the environment you touched down in made up? Is it rock? Or is it jelly?

  • An understanding of the Flora as well as the Fauna. Are there any fossils? Can we determine how life developed?

How do you achieve this?

That is really up to you. It can be a practical diorama. It can be a map. It can be artists' renditions of what you find.

I am sure there are lots of other things that I have not mentioned. As Chief Geographer it is your job to ensure that you can advise on all things related to Geography. Of course, in any scientific field, you need to be clear about your assumptions and what you have based them on (if any) and if you choose to create something physical - take photos of them and ensure that they are submitted as part of the final presentation.
