This media studies unit focuses on two television productions: Deutschland 83 and Capital. Students will answer questions on this topic on A-Level Media Studies Paper 2.
In this unit, students will:
consider historical and cultural contexts of each TV production
analyse each production's use of media language and representation to explore its contexts and themes, and to appeal to audiences
discuss the significance of these productions through the lens of modern TV industries
explore audience responses to each text
