Scott is a 1991 graduate of Big Spring, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. He continued his athletic career, playing baseball at Messiah College while earning his Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Scott began teaching at Big Spring in 1998. He earned his Masters Degree in Education Administration from Point Park University in Pittsburgh. Scott was appointed Athletic Director in 2022.
Scott and his wife, Shawna (Class of 1991) live in Newville where they raised their children Jackson (Class of 2018) and Mattea (Class of 2022). They enjoy watching their children participate in sports at the collegiate level, rooting for their favorite professional and college sports teams, gardening, going off-road in the Jeep, and hanging out by the pool.

April is a 1997 graduate of Big Spring where she plaid field hockey and softball. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Kinesiololgy, with and emphasis in Athletic Training from Penn State University. During her time at Penn State she was a student Athletic Trainer for wrestling, girls soccer, gymnastics, and State College High School.
April continued her education at Central Penn College where she earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science and Physical Therapy. She was hired as a part-time Athletic Trainer for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year in February 2023.
April and her husband, Tim (Class of 1996) live in Carlisle with their two daughters, Kate (Class of 2024) and Hanna (Class of 2027). They enjoy watching their girls play field hockey and basketball for Big Spring, watching any Penn State sports team, and going to the beach.
